1. Low carb, high fibre kathi roll
Dietician Natasha Mohan has shared a special recipe of kathi rolls that are loaded with protein and fibre with very limited carbs. Also, these rolls are low in calories which makes them a perfect weight-loss snack.To prepare these weight loss friendly kathi rolls, chop vegetables like onion, capsicum, cabbage, carrot and other veggies of your choice. Take a small tablespoon of olive oil and sauté these vegetables. Once the veggies are done add 30 grams of sliced paneer to it. Now, add the flavours to the filling with some pepper, salt, soy sauce and chilli sauce. Mix everything together. To make the wraps, take two tablespoons of besan and some water to make a fine paste. Use this batter to make the wrap just like you make a besan cheela. Add the filling to the wrap and make a roll. Now you can enjoy this snack with less than 150 calories guilt-free.
2. Low calorie tikki
Take one-half tablespoon of oil in a pan and add jeera and hing to it. Later add 100-150 grams of grated bottle gourd to pan. Once the bottle gourd is done, add finely chopped carrot, cabbage and fresh coriander leaves to it. Allow these vegetables to cook on a low flame for 2 minutes. Later add 3 tablespoons of oats. Now add spices of your choice and allow it to cook for 5-8 minutes. Keep it aside and allow the mixture to cool down properly. Make tikkis with this mixture and use minimum oil.
Each tikki contains just 24 calories.
3. Weight loss friendly laddoo
Yes, you can enjoy laddoo too when on a diet. Dietician Natasha Mohan has a secret recipe that you cannot afford to miss. These laddoos are loaded with essential nutrients with just 66 calories per laddoo. To make these diet laddoos, take 20-25 soaked and peeled almonds, 10 pieces of walnuts, 7-8 dates for sweetness, one-fourth tablespoon of cinnamon powder and one tablespoon of flaxseeds. Add all these to a mixer and blend. Do not make a fine paste.
