#LifeHack to commit to get your body moving

Fabulous today. So today I wanted to share with you the hack that I used to start moving my body again. So I just see we've got there we go. Let me just update that. So the hack that I used was I had this thing that I needed to get back to exercise. I hadn't been exercising for a long time. I just had my son. My head was full of excuses. I was too tired. I just didn't have the energy. And all those things. So what I said to myself is, okay, how about one hour of yoga a week? That way I'm just committing to one thing, it's not, it doesn't feel like too much, it's just one thing. So I committed to that one hour a week, and every week I've been going to yoga, and I started with a really slow yoga class and have been building up steadily. I've now committed to two yoga classes a week. And it feels so much better for me that I'm doing two yoga classes a week. And it's one more class a week than I was doing before.

And when I was just doing one class a week it was more than one a week you know. So I've steadily been building up. I used to do boxing. I used to do oh Pilates. I used to do all these different things. Spinning and I used to go everyday and I used to move my body everyday. And my standard was up there in terms of what I should be doing. And to commit to that level of exercise and that intensity of exercise just didn't work for me in this season that I was in. Committing to one extra well not even extra, just committing to one hour a week worked for me. And now I've worked up to two hours a week and I've increased the intensity of the yoga that I'm doing. I've actually joined a class with other people. And that helps me to stay committed as well. So and yoga is across the road. So I try and make it as easy as possible to do these the to do the exercise.

So that it when it comes to doing the exercise I have as little excuses as possible. So I committed to one a week. I committed to making it easy so that there were less excuses. And in my head I still want to like walk my dogs around the block everyday. I want to go to the promenade and walk my dogs along the promen not. But I haven't got to that place yet. Where my energy levels are in the right place. My son still doesn't sleep. So what I can commit to is two days of yoga across the road and I join a class. So that's what I wanted to share with you today. Don't try and recommit to any goals that you may have that are hectic. Break it down into its simplest form. If committing to moving your body is five minutes once a week.

That's better than what you were doing before. And you can steady increase that five minutes to two days a week or increase it to once a week, 10 minutes. Break it down into what's going to be achievable for you. It's going to have the least amount of excuses for you. That is an easy thing to do. That it's a no-brainer. And once you start like gaining momentum and seeing results it'll be easier to start increasing and committing to more.

Body movements, whatever your goals are, correct. So that is my tip for you today. And I'm also sharing a free ten second stress tactic. Now that the garden is being mowed.
